Schedule a truck to hang around during your community yard sale.
In the fall, Nashville neighborhoods hold more neighborhood yard sales than any other time of the year, beating out the spring.
Most people fill their yard with stuff they no longer want, but how many times do they actually sell every single item? I bet that happens close to never. Lucky for Nashville, Goodwill offers a truck and a donation attendant during community-wide yard sales.
That way, homeowners don’t have to tow their leftovers back inside, they can just donate it to Goodwill—and get a tax receipt. Donations to Goodwill are 100 percent tax deductible.
If you’d like to sign your neighborhood up, just call (615) 742-4151 and ask for the special projects manager.
Goodwill will work with your homeowner’s association or management team to service the requested time and date. We also offer your neighborhood flyers and yard signs to promote the event.
