Goodwill helped 7,480 people in 2007.  Of that number, we placed 2,319 into jobs and 1,500 of those stayed employed for three months.  

Goodwill served over one million donors throughout the year and collected over 29 million pounds of donations.  That’s enough donations to fill LP Field, where the Tennessee Titan's play football, 43 feet high.

Goodwill’s total revenue in 2007 was $38 million with 80 percent of that figure funding our mission-related services.

Goodwill is accredited by CARF, the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.  

Goodwill’s Transitional Employment Program, which targets hiring people with disabilities, received two awards in 2007, one for creating an innovative program and one for employing people with disabilities.

Goodwill operates 33 retail stores, 15 Career Solutions sites, and over 60 donation sites in 46 counties throughout middle and west Tennessee.

Goodwill’s retail program has two purposes: to integrate people with disabilities and other barriers to employment into the workforce and to generate funding for our vocational programs.

Goodwill, middle Tennessee’s largest employer of people with disabilities, provides around 1,200 to 1,500 employment opportunities. Last year, Goodwill employees with disabilities and other barriers to employment earned more than $13.9 million in wages.
